Description: A Bristol Tourer G-AUDJ 'The Old Pioneer', departed Mascot 9 September 1928 on a flight to England but crashed near Pine Creek on 11 September due to engine overheat, and the flight was abandoned. The aircraft was written off but Anderson and Hitchcock escaped injury.
