Description: Lieuts Ray Parer, left, and John McIntosh, right, with Acting Administrator Hon Miles Staniforth Smith, centre. They flew AIRCO DH9 G-EAQM 'P.D.' leaving Hounslow, UK, on 8 January 1920 arriving in Darwin 2 August 1920. It was the second aircraft and the first single engine England-Australia flight.
