|Description:||BE2e B6183 Capt Henry Wrigley and Sgt Arthur Murphy (mech) landed Avon Downs on 8 December 1919 having departed Point Cook, Victoria, on 16 November. First to fly in the Northern Territory and the first transcontinental flight. Arrived Darwin 12 December, 2 days after arrival of Vickers Vimy G-EAOU of Capt Ross Smith, Lt Keith Smith and Sgts Jim Bennett and Wally Shiers on their completion of the first Eng-Aus flight. Shows four men in front of plane.|
