His many friends will regret to hear that Private John Hill has been wounded in France. He has been in the trenches since April. He was well when he wrote last, but fell shortly after. He had met one Territory lad, and wished to be remembered to all friends.- Mary Hart, care Post Office, Cairns." Died of Wounds at Kangaroo Point Hospital, Brisbane.|
