Description: Ground personnel pose beside the .50" machine gun 'side pack' strafing assembly of B25D-20, N5-161 'Mississippi Dream' of No.18 N61-RAAF Squadron. The aircraft, USAAF serial 41-30816, constructor's No. 87-8981 was received by No.18 Squadron on 24 September 1943 and was named after the USA state, where many of the Dutch aircrew received their training at the USAAF's Jackson Fellah. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair at Drysdale strip (Kalumburu) WA on 9 December 1943. LAC E 'Roy' Marsh standing, left. Batchelor Airfield, Batchelor.
