Description: 1869 Survey Expedition Port Darwin Camp. Fort Hill is to the left. The camp is made of rough timber or iron dwellings, some with bark roofs. A road has been made, fences established, vegetation cleared and bananas planted. A tarpaulin or old sail cloth covers a building.
