|Description:||Darwin RAAF on 19 February 1942 showing married quarters adjunct to station sick quarters. These married quarters bordered the road from the main gate north to what is now Rapid Creek Rd on McMillans Rd, crossing the airfield. The two airmen at rear are standing at a Japanese bomb crater, whilst the airman in foreground is at a slit trench. The sick quarters was destroyed by the bombing raids. RAAF Station, 4 1/2 miles, sick and married quarters.|
