Abstract

Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) involves storing water underground for later beneficial use. The proposed upper King River MAR site is located approximately 50 km south of the centre of Katherine, NT in the Daly River catchment. The proposed MAR scheme will harvest surface water from the upper King River to recharge the Tindall Limestone Aquifer. This report presents the calibration and scenario assessment methods and results to determine the surface water resources available for different MAR options under historical and future climate conditions.,
