Abstract
To effectively control weeds, the first step is to correctly identify weeds causing problems in the crop.
This guide has been developed to assist producers and advisors to correctly identify common weeds found in crops in the Northern Territory.
Images have been captured in the Northern Territory to give a correct local representation of key features.
Weeds are grouped in three main categories, grass, broadleaf and sedges. Within each category weeds are presented alphabetically by scientific name.
The guide does not provide advice on weed management or control options for crops.
