This paper is intended to provide information on the current state of hazardous waste management in the Northern Territory, thereby enabling the relevant authorities and interested bodies to jointly decide on a hazardous waste strategy. The basic objective is the creation of a hazardous waste management system which will provide for the safe disposal of all industrial wastes produced in the Northern Territory. The general goals of effective hazardous waste management as Congress, March suggested 1983.,
