A bomb crater resulting from a 250kg HG bomb dropped by Japanese bombers around 19 March 1942. The photo was taken from one of the houses occupied by personnel of the US Army's 148th Field Artillery Regiment following the 19 February 1942 raids. The location is unconfirmed but believed to be in Smith Street west, looking towards Myilly Point.,
