We had an "official" swimming pool quite close to the hospital and our own small bus, a utility with a canvas roof, would go out there if we asked the officer in charge of the orderlies. This was for nurses only and our orderlies. Our boys cut some bamboo, we would lay on them and paddle down the lagoon.,
