Refuelling an aircraft from a vehicle shipped from Sydney especially for the 1934 air race The truck arrived at the aerodrome on 15 October. Plane is DH88 Comet G-ACSS 'Grosvenor House' no 34 Scott and Campbell Black It arrived in Darwin on 22 October, Melbourne 23 October, finished race in three days (70H 54M) and won both speed and handicap sections, prize 10,000 pounds and a trophy.,
