History

Rowe's Unit embarked from Albany, Western Australia, on board SS 'Port Darwin' on 8 May 1918 and landed in Suez a month later. He transferred to the 28th Battalion on the 29 July 1918 and saw action in Italy and France before returning to Australia on 31 March 1919.,
