History

Bradshaw embarked from Sydney, on board HMAT A14 'Euripides' on 31 October 1917 disembarking at Devonport 26 December 1917. While participating in further training Bradshaw contracted pleurisy on 7 February 1918, then bronchitis and influenza, and was eventually discharged with tuberculosis. Bradshaw returned to Australia on 'D.8' on 17 May 1918 and was granted a pension on 26 July 1918 after being discharged as being medically unfit.,
