Description

In September 1932, the Sargeants were responsible for the creation of what became the town's best known institution when they obtained the license for premises they had built themselves called The Junction Hotel. The hotel was opposite the store, and immediately, the combined businesses became a place of resort for drovers, who welcomed the chance to let their mobs go around the nearby creek while they had a few, or many, drinks at the hotel and filled their pack bags with provisions from the store.,
