Once again I need Mr Stirling to advise me what not culturally appropriate format means? PARAGRAPH 1 0 - 1 2 ALLEGATIONS AGAINST MR SINGH These issues will be answered separately by Mr Singh. PARAGRAPH 13 SPECIFIC FINANCIAL CONCERNS I have reviewed the financial statements and the major review conducted by Walter Turnbull and I have not noted and major financial concerns. Please refer document 31/1 to 31/5 This once again demonstrates Mr Stirlings lack of understanding of financial statements and reports. In my opinion Mr Stirling has misled Parliament. PARAGRAPH 14 CLEANTHOUS & DEO It should be brought to Mr Stirlings attention, we honoured our contract and only paid ourselves as per contract. This issue was discussed and agreed by Mr Thamm. PARAGRAPH 15 CURRENT POSITION It should be noted that Cleanthous & Deo were only appointed as accountants, we had no part in hiring or terminating people. It should be noted (Walter Turn bull on page 43 of its document - Refer to appendix B - Summary of recommendations). There are no significant changes required to the way the organisation manages its budgeting and financial reporting. However, if improving planning processes are established the budgets and performance information should clearly linked to such plans . Furthermore the Auditors report for 97/98 did not highlight and major qualification as the only qualification is a standard one that applies to Aboriginal organisations. PARAGRAPH 16 Based on the issues I believe Mr Stirling has misled the Parliament and as such should be barred from making any public record that will harm Cleanthous & Deo.
