Description
"In March 2017, the Marine Ecosystems group facilitated a two-day workshop as the final component of the program. The aim was to present the results of the dolphin helicopter and dugong fixed-wing aerial surveys, discuss cultural and scientific information on marine megafauna (dolphins, sea turtles, dugongs), and with this information, how best to work towards managing marine megafauna in the NT. The workshop brought together 13 sea ranger groups, senior Traditional Owners, Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory rangers and DENR staff from across the Territory."
