Ira became the Assistant Manager of Ansett Airlines shortly after moving to Darwin, where he was employed at the time of the cyclone until his retirement in 1983. Faith worked with Burns Philp for some time, before joining the Dept of Education, where she worked as the Travel Clerk before her retirement.Ira and Faith finally moved back to Queensland in 1994. Sadly, Ira passed away in April 2010, and Faith still lives south of Brisbane.,
