First jet aircraft in Australia, it was allotted to RAAF 1 Aircraft Performance Unit for tropical trials at Darwin, and was accompanied by a Lincoln Bomber. The small boy is Gillen Bullman, grandchild of Bill and Henriette Pearce of Daly Waters.,
