Description

The L shaped house was an Architect design and is absolute simplicity at its best. Open living with just the bedroom concealed, the L shaped house is a fully self-sustainable house which has rainwater tanks, solar panels, and a productive vegetable garden. Once again George Watts had a hand in the building of the kitchen and tiling of the floor around the bath, which looks out onto the garden. The floor in the kitchen area has been made out of tongue and groove, and then polished; the ceiling is pitched to provide some relief from the heat. There are screens on the western side of the house which lower down when it gets windy, or the sun gets too hot, but that's about all the luxury this spartan house provides. This house is ideally suited for the individual who is looking to escape the daily grind and disappear into a rural setting.,
