Abstract

This report reviews the data collected in the first 3 months of a 12 month survey into the incidence of water pollution in the Darwin Rural Area (RLl). Compared to the adopted long term objectives for bacteriological purity, the incidence of water pollution of bores and wells in the area is high. The wet season sampling has not taken place long enough for the difference in pollution level to be shown to be significant.,
