Arthur Butler's Comper Swift G-ABRE at Darwin after his flight from England in late 1931. Leaving England on 31 October 1931 he landed in Darwin 9 days 2 hrs later on 9 November. The aircraft was powered by a small 75hp Pobjoy engine. Butler later formed Butler Air Transport and was one of the contractors for the mail services in Australia along with Qantas, Larkin and Brearley's WA Airlines.,
