History

Requisitioned on 20 October 1939. Coolebar was intended to be returned to her original owners but was kept in service after the loss of Patricia Cam. She was re-commissioned as a stores carrier in 1943 and operated between Sydney and Darwin until she was paid off in June 1945.,
