The aim of the field work was to carry out water quality and stream gaugings. This will inform the Daly River Catchment Cultural Water Needs Project which aims to meet Aboriginal cultural needs in key areas of the Daly River catchment. Measurements and observations were conducted along Stray Creek and selected tributaries in order to quantify the early dry season baseflow and to determine which aquifers are the sources.,
