History
In December 1941, the Unit took four mobile 3 inch guns down to Batchelor. The Unit became independent at the end of March 1942. In February 1943, after 13 months in the Northern Territory, they travelled by train and truck transferring to the Fremantle Fortress area. The Battery was disbanded on the 13 December and its personnel transferred to other Units in the South West Pacific Area.,
