The photographs for this book were taken at the Preschool in Yuendumu, thanks to the parents and grand-parents who came to show the little children how to collect and prepare local foods in the traditional Warlpiri manner. Many children here had never seen the preparation of these berry balls and had never tasted them before. One of the teachers, Anne Davis, took the photographs while the other teacher, Jeanie Nungarrayi, wrote the Warlpiri text to accompany the photographs in this book. The English captions were translated from the Warlpiri by Lotti Napangardi Robertson.,
