|Service History:||Blaylock joined the Contingent leaving Darwin in April 1916. His unit embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A40 ‘Ceramic’ on 7 October 1916. He was awarded the Military Medal on 26th September, 1917 (Commonwealth Gazette, No. 31, 7 March 1918). He returned to Australia on 12 December 1918 on board the ‘Somerset’.|
