|Service History:||Marsh was a member of the Darwin Cable Guard. He enlisted three days after his 17th birthday, giving his year of birth as 1900. Both his parents gave their permission for his enlistment. His unit embarked from Adelaide on board HMAT A36 'Boonah' on 22 October 1918. He reached Durban when the armistice was signed so returned to Australia.|
