Description: Win Thomas correcting his students’ work whilst gathered around is one of my favourite images because I feel it demonstrates a respectful and productive relationship between teacher and students. Over the past decade Win has been able to develop a level of respect in the Wudikapildiyerr community that stems from his commitment to educating the children. Mr T, as he is referred to throughout the community has known each one of the students in this image since the day they where born. His greatest goal in life is to see all of his students succeed and develop into healthy and productive teenagers and he hopes that they go on to pursue secondary education.
