Description / Abstract: Feathers for Phoebe' by Rod Clement was read at Taminmin Library and streamed live via the Northern Territory Library website. Each year over 120,000 children at over 830 locations around the country take part in this simultaneous book reading. Aimed at helping children to discover libraries, this event highlights the importance of reading and literacy for children. This year's featured book was be about a plain, grey bird, as she searches for ways to make new friends, using an array of brightly coloured costumes.
