|Service History:||The unit embarked from Melbourne on board HMAT A20 'Hororata' on 19 October 1914. Served in Gallipoli and survived as the only remaining officer in the Krithia attack. Recommended for Military Cross Award on 4 June 1915 and later wounded and invalided in England. Returned to Australia 2 February 1916 and left the army in 1917. Served in Australian Intelligence Corps in Melbourne from 1939-1943 and then he retired as a Colonel.|
