Description / Abstract: This report presents details of the capture and compilation of field data pertaining to a bathymetric survey of the Roper River estuary between Roper Bar and Kangaroo Island, during the week beginning 29 September, 2002. The purpose of this work was to gain an understanding of the hydrodynamic nature of the estuary. Since data available from this compilation stage is now 'model ready', it may be expected that the next stage would be to develop a hydrodynamic model of the Roper River estuary.
