"This report is one of a series undertaken to investigate the potential of selected horticultural crops for central Australia - Northern Territory portion (see Figure 1) . While written specifically for central Australian conditions, many parts of the report will be relevant or readily adapted to other areas of the Northern Territory. The aims of this report are to: outline the agronomic requirements for growing grapefruit; present an overview of the Australian grapefruit industry; evaluate the profitability of establishing an orchard in the NT.
