Between October 1998 and March 1999, several water quality surveys were conducted in Jones Creek, a tidal creek within Darwin Harbour. These focused on identifying spatial, temporal and tidal variability in the water quality of the creek. Three regions were identified in Jones Creek, possessing separate water quality characteristics – the upper, middle and mouth regions. These were compared to harbour water quality measured at the same time.
