Abstract
This study follows on from the previous Stage 1 Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) risk assessment which identified a series of field and laboratory investigations to be performed at the upper King River MAR site to support the Stage 2 MAR pre-commissioning residual risk assessment.
The investigations included a hydrological study of the King River to determine the availability of water for recharge, a localised drilling program and hydrogeological study to better characterise the Tindall Limestone Aquifer (TLA) where MAR is proposed, surface and groundwater quality sampling and groundwater modelling to support the risk assessment.,
