Description

Four Supermarine Southamptons S.1149, S.1150, S1151, S.1152 of RAF Far East Flight (Grp. Capt. Cave-Brown-Cave) departed Felixtowe UK on 17 October 1927, proceeded to Broome on 1 June 1928 and visited all capital cities. Arrived in Darwin 18 August 1928 and departed 1 September. Arrived at New Singapore Base 15 September. Flight subsequently disbanded and reformed as 205 Squadron.,
