Wilson Park (Lot 3826) and Wilson Crescent in Darwin were named in his memory. His sister Ruby Emily Olive Wilson served as a Staff Nurse at the 1st Australian Army Hospital in England from 1917 to 1919.,

History

Embarked from Melbourne on board HMAT A16 'Star of Victoria' on 25 February 1915. In September 1915 he participated in operations with the regiment in Palestine and the Sinai, and was promoted to Lance-Corporal on 17 January 1918.
