The coastal dolphin project has been operating in Darwin Harbour for a 24 period (March 2008 to February 2010). The project is expected to continue for another 12 to 24 months. Prior to this, no systematic long-term studies had been conducted on the
ecology, habitat use, abundance or seasonality of three species of coastal dolphins in the Northern Territory. This project is still unde
rway, and this report presents only a summary of information collected to date on the most relevant to conservation issues in the Darwin Harbour area.,
