He received his medals in 1921 at Yatala Labour Prison, S.A on 8 December 1921. Living in W.A. in 1947.,
History
Box first enlisted 16 August 1917 but after serving 100 days at AIF camp Mitcham he was discharged for 'Having been convicted by the civil power'. After serving his sentence he re-enlisted 7 August 1918 embarking from Melbourne, on board HMAT A37 'Barambah' on 31 August 1918 as part of the 5th General Refits, he arrived in London 14 November 1918 where he was posted to the 27th Battalion. He returned to Australia on HT 'Devon' which embarked 8 October 1919 and was discharged 9 December 1919.,
