"The Garbage Warrior of Darwin." The afternoon this image was made of Trevor reading the NT News in the gutter. I had spent the morning with Trevor moving a Ute load of rubbish that he had picked up on the streets and stored in his bedroom to a safe place in the long grass where he could sort through it at his own leisure at a later date. Exhausted, I left Trevor in the city whilst I got some lunch and read the paper, once I had finished eating I threw the paper in the bin and walked across the street to talk to someone for a minute or two, during this short time Trevor had come along, found the paper which I had just moments before placed into the bin and made a hat out of it and was reading it whilst seated in the gutter. I have spent hours with Trevor as he shows me around Darwin, together we see some amazing sights that only a true street person knows.
