Description

The Daly Waters Pub and community is one of the must see destinations in the Northern Territory. The pub is a welcome destination for travellers; renowned for its service, hospitality, great food and ice-cold beer. Memorabilia adorns every bit of wall space ranging from Irish football jerseys to bras and nickers. Where ever you look there is something interesting to read or ponder its origin. Despite common belief Daly Waters was never built on the highway. Bill Pearce, a local tin miner and his wife Henrietta, in 1930, built a store to service travellers, settlers and Drovers and later air passengers en rout to London. The pub was given a jug license in 1938.,
