'Swan' during a bombing raid. It afterwards hit the passing 'Zealandia'. This photo was taken by Roy Wheeler, during the raid on Darwin on 19 February 1942. He was the adjutant on board the Australian Hospital Ship Manunda moored in Darwin Harbour. His wife Alyson Wheeler was a nurse on board the Manunda until 1941, and her close friend, Nurse Margaret de Mestre, was killed during the raid whilst helping those rescued in life rafts from the burning sea, aboard Manunda.,
