Abstract
Menzies School of Health Research (MSHR) is the only Australian health and medical researchinstitute with a primary focus on the health of Indigenous communities and people living in tropicaland remote areas. -- MSHR was established in 1985 as a cooperative venture between the Northern TerritoryGovernment,the Menzies Foundation and the University of Sydney.Today,MSHR is acknowledgedas the nation's leader in Indigenous health research,earning over half the total National Healthand Medical Research Council'sIndigenous health research funding in the past three years.Weproduce over 80 articles and other publications in refereed journals each year and actively engagein research transfer activities in areas of health policy and health-service development. -- page 2,
