US Navy Catalina flying boat (22-P-10) from PATWING 10 which had flown to Derby from Darwin shortly before the first air raid. Note the spinners on the air screws on the propellers that were distinctive to this model Catalina. The flying boat is a Consolidated PBY-3, Bureau Number 0875, of Patrol Squadron Twenty Two (VP 22), Patrol Wing Two, headquatered at NAS Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.,
