A Hercules VH-UJQ airmail plane, West Australian Airways. VH-UVQ DH66 replaced Imperial Airways Hercules aircraft 'City of Cairo' which had crashed at Koepang on 19 April 1931 during the final leg of the air mail experimental trip between London-Sydney. The aircraft was purchased by Imperial Airways from West Australian Airways and flew from Darwin on 20 May 1931, flown by R. W. Tollard and engineer Gardiner (R. Alford). 1920s/30s.,
