Lockheed Hudson A16-160 'KO-X' of No2 Squadron RAAF in the aircraft 'graveyard' at Drysdale Airstrip (Kalumburu) W.A. following a landing accident on 21 December 1943. It is believed Army troops converted the aircraft to a 'converted to components' status with demolition charges. A recent interview with Mr Keith Griffin, ex No13 Squadron, confirms that the Army had a penchant for the demolition of aircraft they couldn't easily move at Drysdale. He recalled A16-160 along with other aircraft in the 'graveyard' (B Alford 14.7.1990).,
