All the fun of the annual Katherine street parade ]CHRISTMAS PARADE Wednesday December 13, 2017KATHERINETIMES30 katherinetimes.com.au KEEPING HYDRATED: Yes it was hot, but there was plenty to drink. Besides the traditional lolly feast, there was lots of chilled water handed out as well. BIG PARADE: The Katherine parade went on, and on, and on. Many community groups responded to the call to support the event. NOISY: Time for some spare ear muffs with this entry in the parade, what a beast. CROWD FAVOURITE: Oh yes, you knowwho was there at the Christmas parade in Katherine, all the way from the North Pole. GRINNERS AREWINNERS: It is hard to keep a smile off your face when there is so much to see - and sweet food to eat. WATCHFUL: Keeping an eye out for the little 'uns, there were big crowds lining Katherine Terrace last Thursday night. WHOOPSIE: TheWoolies display had a slight mishap on the way down the terrace, with some fruit spilling out. WRONG SPOT: Umm, not much grass on the bitumen along Railway Terrace. PRIDE OF PLACE: Children took pride of place in the displays parading along Railway Terrace. LINE UP: Picture opportunity before the parade began at the back of the BP. Ready for some fun. Big crowds again came out for the annual Katherine Christmas parade and street party. Hundreds of people lined Katherine Terrace for an even bigger parade than last year. CHRISTMAS PARADE FUN
