CHRISTMAS TIME JOY HO HO HO: Prizes were awarded for school spirit, academic excellence and effort throughout the school year. LITTLE ANGELS:MacFarlane and Clyde Fenton primary schools both had concerts last week. CHRISTMAS CHEER: Beaming faces of proud parents could be spotted around town. RUDOLPH GANG: Everyone from Preschool right through to Year 6 performed. SING SONG: Each year level performed a song and dance HOLIDAY SPIRIT: Students are eager for school to finish up for the year. DRAFT FINAL REPORTRELEASED FOR PUBLIC COMMENT The independent Scientific Inquiry into Hydraulic Fracturing of Onshore Unconventional Reservoirs in the Northern Territory has released its draft Final Report. The Report details the Inquirys draft recommendations that would mitigate risks that the Inquiry has identified in regards to the potential of hydraulic fracturing in the Northern Territory. The draft Final Report is open for public comment until 15 January 2018. Public hearings, where members of the public can present to the Inquiry, will be held in February 2018. The hearing schedule is: JM 00 13 5th February Darwin Convention Centre 6th February Darwin Convention Centre 7th February Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts &Culture Centre, Katherine 8th February Alice Springs Convention Centre 12th February Tennant Creek Civic Hall Registration for hearings can bemade on the Inquirys website frackinginquiry.nt.gov.au by 5 January 2018. Community forums will also be held in urban, regional and remote communities. These forums will occur between 29 January to 16 February 2018. Dates and venues will be detailed on the Inquirys website in the near future. The Final Report is due to be presented to Government inMarch 2018.
