TECHNICAL AND FURTHER EDUCATION TRUST ACCOUNT DESCRIPTIONS ACTIVITY: COMMONWEALTH PROGRAMS The Commonwealth Programs Secretariat Trust AccountTAFEprovides for the receipt and expenditure of monies relating to the operations of Secretariat programs, and segregates them from the Education Department's operations. ACTIVITY: TAFE SERVICES The Educational Books Trust Account is for the purpose of recording receipts and expenditure in connection with the purchasing and processing of books and materials, on behalf of TAFE Library Services. This trust account was transferred to the Office of Local Government on 1 January 1991. ACTIVITY: COLLEGES The Batchelor College Trust Account provides for the recording of receipts and expenditure related to the operation of the college. The Northern Territory Rural College Trust Account provides for the receipts and expenditure of monies relating to the operation of the college. The Territory Training Centre Trust Account provides for the recording of the receipts and expenditure related to the operation of the Territory Training Centre. The NT Open College Trust Account provides for the recording of revenue and expenditure relating to the Northern Territory Open College courses. The Alice Springs College of TAFE Trust Account provides for the receipts and expenditure in relation to the operation of the college. The ASCOT FM Radio Trust Account provides a record of receipts and expend i ture relating to the operation of the radio station. The Centre of Appropriate Technology Trust Account is for the recording of receipts and expenditure associated with the centre. This includes recording revenue received from the sale of products and the recording of expenditure on further research, development, training and production. The Indonesian Education Assistance Project Trust Account provides a record of receipts and expenditure relating to the Indonesian Education Assistance Project. 75
